FAITH & WORK
Faith & Work
Your work is part of your life with God.
At Perfecting Love Charlotte, we do not believe people should have to divide themselves into separate spiritual and work identities.
The person who worships on Sunday is the same person who works a shift, manages a household, cares for a loved one, studies for an exam, runs a business, serves customers, builds a trade, navigates unemployment, or leads a team throughout the week.
We believe every person bears inherent dignity. Your worth is not measured by your job title, salary, education, status, productivity, or professional achievement. Work is real and meaningful — but it is only one part of who you are.
Your working life is not separate from your faith. It is one of the places where your faith is formed, tested, expressed, and lived.
Perfecting Love Charlotte is a Charlotte faith community where Christian professionals, hourly workers, entrepreneurs, students, and everyone in between can belong.
SECTION 1
A Church That Understands the Workplace
Perfecting Love Charlotte is committed to serving people who are navigating the intersection of faith, work, leadership, purpose, and personal well-being — wherever that work takes place.
Our pastor serves both in ministry and in the professional world. His experience in learning, leadership, communication, organizational development, and workplace culture gives him a genuine understanding of the pressures working people face. But this church does not exist only for executives or corporate professionals. We are equally committed to hourly workers, shift workers, homemakers, caregivers, students, retirees, tradespeople, service workers, and anyone between roles or discerning what comes next.
Every person bears dignity. No job title, salary, degree, or accomplishment makes someone more valuable in the eyes of God — or in the life of this church.
We understand:
The pressure to perform and produce, at every level
The weight of caring for others without recognition or rest
The anxiety of hourly wages, shift work, and making ends meet
The isolation of caregiving, homemaking, and unpaid labor
The uncertainty of unemployment, underemployment, and transition
The disappointment of being overlooked or undervalued
The tension between ambition and contentment
The challenge of maintaining integrity in difficult environments
The exhaustion of carrying work, family, and life responsibilities
The search for dignity and meaning beyond titles, salaries, and accomplishments
We believe people need pastoral leadership that can speak to both their spiritual formation and their daily realities.
