Visiting a church for the first time can come with a lot of questions. We want to make your first experience with Perfecting Love Charlotte as comfortable and simple as possible.
You don't have to know anybody before you come.

4th Sundays are Sabbath Sundays, a day of intentional rest, with a prerecorded worship experience at 2:00 PM. 5th Sundays are Unity Sundays, when we worship with our sister congregations. Learn about our worship rhythm →

ARRIVAL
What Happens When I Arrive?
When you arrive, look for the Perfecting Love Charlotte sign near the entrance.
Someone from our family will be there to welcome you, help you find your way into the sanctuary, and answer any questions you may have.
Come in, find a seat, get comfortable, and settle in. We'll have music playing as everyone gathers, and our worship experience begins at 2:00 PM.
Feel free to arrive a few minutes early if you'd like some extra time to get settled.
THE EXPERIENCE
What Should I Expect?
Our worship gatherings are intentionally simple, relational, and Spirit-led.
You can expect worship, community, the Word, prayer, and room for the Holy Spirit to move.
Our Call to Worship generally begins around 2:10 PM, after everyone has had an opportunity to arrive and settle in.
Most gatherings conclude between approximately 3:15 and 3:30 PM.

CLOTHING
What Should I Wear?
Wear clothes.
That's pretty much the dress code.
Some people may come in suits, dresses, clergy attire, or traditional church clothing. Others may come in jeans, sneakers, T-shirts, or Greek letters.
Come in what makes you comfortable. We're much more interested in meeting you than evaluating what you wore.
FAMILY
What About My Children?
Bring them. They belong here too.
Your children are welcome in the sanctuary with you.
Your baby can cry. Your toddler can move. Your child can ask questions.
If you need to feed your child during worship, feed them. If you need to tend to your baby, tend to them. You do not have to spend the entire service worried that your child is disrupting somebody else's worship.
Parents, you can breathe here.
Children aren't the church of tomorrow. They're part of the church right now. Your child's humanity isn't disrupting our worship.

We want you to have the freedom to experience Perfecting Love Charlotte without feeling like you have to perform, explain yourself, or make any decisions before you're ready.

Our worship gatherings generally conclude between 3:15 and 3:30 PM, with a little time afterward to greet one another and connect.
If it's your first time with us, Pastor Terrance would love the opportunity to meet you personally before you leave.
